Located in the North west of Italy, the coastal area of Cinque Terre “Five Lands” consists of the colourful, picturesque villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Moterosso al Mare, perched on the cliffs of the Ligurian Coast.
If breathtaking coastal views and spectacular scenery is for you then look no further. The rugged coastline of the Italian Riveria is home to steeply terraced vineyards, fine local food, hiking trails, gorgeous beaches, and narrow cobbled streets. As you walk coastal paths covered in wildflowers you’ll be rewarded with the rich cultural heritage and visual treats of breathtaking views and magical sunsets all from a choice of vantage points.
All the accommodation has been handpicked to reflect the character and history of the region. The hotels are comfortable 3 and 4 star, in wonderful locations and have a friendly family run atmosphere. All rooms have private bathrooms and amenities, and an Italian style breakfast included each morning. The rest of the day take the opportunity to enjoy the local cuisine and wine that the region is famous for.
From May to September Camogli and the Cinque Terre can be very busy so we can’t always guarantee the accommodation listed in the itinerary. We work with several hotels of similar standard, quality and features and will provide alternatives when required. As all walks start and end at the central points of the villages, it’s your responsibility to make your way to and from your hotel. This means that if your accommodation has altered from what is in the program you need to be aware of where you are in relation to the start and end of routes. We try to modify the routes as little as possible by choosing accommodation in a similar location to what is stated in the trip
