OVERVIEW

The Abel Tasman Coast Track is New Zealand’s most acclaimed coastal walk. It’s also one of New Zealand’s Great walks that includes the likes of the Milford and the Routeburn tracks, among others, so it sits with good company. The walk snakes its way along the gorgeous coastline of Abel Tasman national park. Magnificent views over pristine golden beaches and the crystal clear water of Tasman and Golden Bays are just a few of the rewards of walking this linear end-to-end track.

This region has more sunshine hours than anywhere else in New Zealand so you’ll get to enjoy those deep freshwater pools and the many streams that you encounter. There’s also the isolated beach or two that will beckon you to stop, sit and just enjoy.

You will be treated to 4-star accommodation and excellent meals at Awaroa Lodge, private transfers from Nelson to Marahau, and the best of creature comforts available in Marahau village, enjoying an unsurpassed fully-immersive walking experience.
