OVERVIEW

Exploring the Abel Tasman Coast Track's spectacular coastline on foot is a beautiful experience. To add to the magic we've added a day (or half-day) on the water, kayaking with a local guide, so you can further immerse yourself in this idyllic paradise:  witness up close all the little coves and inlets from a kayak, some of which are not accessible on foot.

This is one of New Zealand's most iconic coastal walks with the added bonus of having more sunshine hours than anywhere else in New Zealand. The Abel Tasman track is famous for its pristine golden beaches and crystal-clear water. The deep pools of freshwater, running streams and isolated beaches beckon you to take a swim.

We include 4-star accommodation and excellent meals at Awaroa Lodge, the best of creature comforts available in Marahau village and private transfers from Nelson.

  • Split Apple Classic kayaking adventure
  • Spectacular coastline including one-of-a-kind views over gorgeous golden coves, sparkling waters, and native forest
  • Stacks of opportunities to take a swim in crystal clear waters
