Overview
Walk four of the finest sections of South Australia's legendary Heysen Trail through the ancient landscapes of the Northern Flinders Ranges. One of the oldest geological landscapes on earth, the Flinders rewards walkers with rust-coloured ridges, deep gorges, vast plains and a sense of remoteness that can only truly be understood on foot. The sacred country of Ikara — Wilpena Pound — forms the dramatic centrepiece of the walk, its towering walls visible from seemingly every angle.
Each evening, beautifully appointed Eco Villas provide a genuinely luxurious contrast to the raw wilderness outside. Hot showers, chef-prepared dinners and a comfortable bed waiting at the end of every day.

Where You'll Stay
Nights are spent in two outstanding properties that make the most of their extraordinary surroundings. The award-winning Eco Villas at Rawnsley Park Station offer fully appointed kitchens, ensuites and a private lounge, while at Wilpena Pound, luxury glamping tents with ensuites sit within one of Australia's most iconic natural amphitheatres. Both properties are as memorable as the walking itself.
What You'll Eat
Two-course à la carte dinners and cooked breakfasts are prepared by in-house chefs at both properties, with a focus on regional South Australian produce and wine. Kangaroo and emu occasionally feature on the menu, and world-class South Australian wines are always within easy reach. A substantial packed lunch is provided each day and enjoyed at a memorable spot on the track. If you enjoy a pre-dinner drink, we suggest bringing your own wine as the restaurants are licensed but drinks are not included in the package.
Note: Drinks and alcohol are not included with meals, with the exception of tea, coffee and juice served with breakfast.
