Overview

The Cape to Cape Track winds along one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Australia, through the world-famous Margaret River wine region. The walking is endlessly varied: clifftop paths above crashing Indian Ocean swells, white sand beaches, wildflower-filled coastal heath and the towering Boranup Karri forest. Dolphins are a common sight from the cliff tops, and between May and September, humpback whales pass close to shore on their annual migration. The Margaret River region's celebrated food and wine make this as much a culinary experience as a walking one, with outstanding restaurants and wineries within easy reach of the track each day.
