Cookie Policy

Last updated: 02/04/2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Stroll Walking Holidays (“Stroll”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website at stroll.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

By using our website, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy. You can manage or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings tool on our website.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet or smartphone) when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as your preferences or actions, which can make your next visit easier and the site more useful to you.

We may also use similar technologies, including web beacons (pixel tags), to understand how users interact with our content.

2. Types of Cookies and Similar Technologies We Use

We categorise the cookies and similar technologies on our website into three groups based on whether your consent is required.

A. Strictly Necessary (Always Active — No Consent Required)

These cookies are essential for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block these cookies, but some parts of the site may not work as a result.

B. Third-Party Embedded Content (Loaded With the Page)

Some pages embed content from third-party services to provide maps, videos and images. When this content loads, the third-party provider may set or read its own cookies, use local storage, or collect data such as your IP address in accordance with its own privacy policy. These embeds load as part of the page and are not gated by our cookie consent banner.

Mapbox may use cookies or local storage for map tile caching and fraud prevention. Wikimedia may set cookies when images are loaded from its servers for request handling and caching purposes.

For more information, see each provider's privacy policy: Mapbox, YouTube (Google), Vimeo, Wikimedia Foundation.

C. Consent-Required Cookies (Loaded Only After You Accept)

The following cookies and services are not loaded unless you accept cookies via our consent banner. If you reject or ignore the banner, none of the services below will run and no cookies in this section will be set.
