Where You'll Stay
Nights on this route begin in comfortable three-star hotels and B&Bs in the larger towns, before giving way to agriturismos and B&Bs as the walk heads deeper into the villages and countryside. The agriturismos are family-run farm stays set within the Sicilian landscape, where the slower pace of rural island life makes for a welcome end to a day on the trail. All rooms have private bathrooms throughout.
Alternative Accommodation
We do our best to avoid changes to the accommodation, but during peak season there is a possibility that you may stay somewhere different from what is pictured in the itinerary. Where this happens, minor adjustments to the start or end of your walking routes may be necessary. Please check your confirmed accommodation against the itinerary and note any changes carefully, as it is important to remain attentive to the route details throughout. In cases where alternative accommodation is used, we will always aim to maintain the same standard and keep you in the same towns and villages wherever possible, though this cannot always be guaranteed.
What You'll Eat
Seven breakfasts are included throughout the trip, each one a classic Italian spread to set you up before the day's walking begins. On the fourth day, in Cammarata, dinner is also included. Beyond that, lunch and dinner are yours to discover, and Sicily makes that a genuine pleasure, with exceptional local dishes and regional wines waiting in the towns and villages along the route.
Note: Please advise us of any food allergies or intolerances at the time of booking. If you have severe allergies, bringing some of your own snacks is recommended, as specialist ingredients can be harder to source along the way.
