Lake Como & Maggiore

The Italian Lakes have been drawing travellers for centuries, and on foot is still the finest way to experience them. Lake Como, often called the jewel of the Italian lakes, sets the tone from the start. The Alps provide a dramatic backdrop throughout, and the combination of history, gardens, good food and shimmering water makes this one of the most quietly rewarding walking destinations in Europe.
