Where You'll Stay

Every day of this stage brings you closer to St-Jean-Pied-de-Port, the finishing point of Camino Le Puy. You will find yourself in family-run hotels and guesthouses that have long been welcoming walkers. Rooms are private and have an ensuite. Given the logistics of booking eight consecutive nights, walking days may occasionally be slightly shortened or lengthened to ensure all the accommodation lines up. Where alternative accommodation is substituted for those listed, it will always meet the same standard.

If you are travelling with others but would prefer a single room, we recommend booking as early as possible. Availability can be limited on this popular route and a single occupancy fee applies.

What You'll Eat

Each of the eight mornings begins with breakfast at your accommodation, setting you up well before the day's walking begins. Lunch is an opportunity to eat well and explore, with local cheeses, cured meats and a good variety of breads easy to find at stops along the route. In the evenings, many properties on this stage have their own restaurants serving dishes rooted in the local food culture, and dinner can be added as a supplement for those who want the full picture.
