Cotswold Way Uncovered – 11 Days

11 Days
Moderate

Overview

Walk the full length of the Cotswold Way over 11 days, following one of England's most beloved National Trails from the medieval wool town of Chipping Campden to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath.

The route crosses wild meadows and ancient hilltop burial sites, passes through charming villages of thatched cottages and honey-stone trading houses, and ventures deep into ancient woodland to the flamboyant Rococo Gardens near Painswick. History is woven into every section, from the battlefields of the English Civil War to the baroque splendour of Dyrham Park. Bath delivers a fitting finale, with the Roman Baths, the Royal Crescent and the city's extraordinary Georgian streets waiting at the end of the trail.

Where You'll Stay

Nights are spent in traditional inns, pubs, family-run guesthouses and small hotels, many of which date back several centuries and are very much part of the Cotswolds experience. Each host is well-acquainted with the route and happy to help with local knowledge and recommendations. As many overnight stops are in small villages, occasional substitutions of equivalent quality may be necessary — these will always be discussed during the booking process.
