OverviewOverview
Corsica, Europe's best-kept secret island, has been part of France for over two centuries yet retains a character entirely its own. This six-night walk splits evenly between two very different worlds, with three nights in Calvi by the sea and three nights in Corte amidst the mountains, offering an experience of the island that few visitors ever see.
The terrain shifts dramatically throughout. From an irregular coastline of sandy beaches to rocky peaks that pierce through the clouds, the walking moves through some of the most diverse and rewarding landscapes in the Mediterranean. Remote and wild in equal measure, the routes have been carefully chosen to reflect the true character of the island, covering coastal paths and mountain trails at a moderate pace.
The cuisine, the clarity of the sea and the warmth of the Mediterranean climate add their own layer to a walk that delivers a genuine and unhurried encounter with one of Europe's most distinctive islands.

Where You'll Stay
Every property on this tour is a three-star hotel, handpicked for its location and the quality it offers at the end of a walking day in Corsica. Each has been carefully selected to provide a comfortable base for the days ahead, and where any property cannot be secured, an alternative of equivalent quality will always be arranged in place of those pictured.
Corsica rewards those who take their time, and we recommend adding a day or two to make the most of what the island has to offer. If you are considering where to extend your stay, the following may be helpful:
Calvi: A coastal town with a historic citadel and sandy beaches.
Corte: A mountain village offering an authentic inland Corsican experience away from the coast.
What You'll Eat
Six breakfasts are included throughout the trip, continental in style and typical of the region. Lunch and dinner are yours to find, and Corsica is worth finding them in. The island has a strong food culture built around cured meats, brocciu cheese, wild boar stew and chestnut-based dishes, with local wine to match. Your walk notes will include a handpicked dossier of restaurant recommendations for the evenings, places where even the locals eat.
Note: Please advise us of any food allergies or intolerances at the time of booking. If you have severe allergies, bringing some of your own snacks is recommended, as specialist ingredients can be harder to source along the way.
